Beyonce Formation World Tour 2016

Last night I went to the Beyonce Formation World Tour at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia! I could end the article here but I know you are curious on the fun I had. Just a little background information on me, I am a die hard fan of Beyonce, also known as Yonce or Bad Bitch (you would understand if you attended the concert). My obsession starting while I was away at school. I remember starting my freshman year, Fall of 2011, and her 4 album dropped. I loved the entire cd but my love for her came when I started watching her performances on YouTube. As you may not know, I am also obsessed with YouTube. It was a match made in heaven. I could binge watch makeup tutorials and flawless Beyonce concerts and performances.

If you have ever been interested in the cost of a Beyonce concert ticket, let me be the first to tell you it AIN’T CHEAP. Let me clarify. It depends on the type of experience you want. I love Beyonce and will LOVE Beyonce until I die. When I attend a concert, I would like to smell Beyonce’s deodorant and be able to count the crystals on her costumes. Others may just want to be in the same building with her, in which I understand that too. So if you want to be in the same room with her, you can pay about less than two hundred. Do not be shocked by the starting price or just plain cheap. You must realize the ticket cost is paying for more than Beyonce. You are paying for her costumes(They are all designer by the way. Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother is no longer sewing costumes in Houston, Texas’s third ward. Givenchy is just one to name.), Blue Ivy’s nanny, the amazing backup dancers, and the crew who assembles the stage. They have to eat too. I was very fortunate enough to have floor seats. I could not taste the Freedom water( You would have had to attend a concert to understand) but I did have great people sitting next to me and my view was nice between the stage and screen. If you wanted to taste the Freedom water and see the Swarovski crystals, then you are automatically in one grand, at minimum, out of money. All of these prices do not include Ticketmaster fees.

Lastly, let me tell you about my experience. I enjoyed myself 110% and beyond. Yesterday, I am writing this the morning after, I was not in the best mood. Yet, I was not about to let a raggedy graduate teacher and ungrateful family members,so called friends, and a pitiful dating life ruin my day. How many people you know can buy BEYONCE tickets within less than twenty hours from the concert? I would agree that it would be few people. She did perform as many songs as I thought she would but the show was still entertaining. It is a once in a lifetime experience. You are definitely paying for an experience. She had an opening act with a few artist by the name of T.I, Young Thug, DJ Khaled, 2 Chainz, Usher, Ludacris, and Jermaine Dupri. She started two hours after the proposed starting time, 7:30 pm, and doors opened two hours before the starting time, 5:30 pm. Do not break your bank trying to see her if you cannot afford it but if you can spare the money, buy the ticket(s). Fan or not.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
