Let me take you out of the hustle and bustle of daily city life and into one man's dream of a Tokyo-inspired sushi restaurant that mixes fantastic and unique menu options with unbelievable, jaw-dropping entertainment. Sushi Roxx, the hot new restaurant located in-between Grand Central and Murray Hill in New York City, is a prime example of what every city needs for a fun night out.
Upon arrival at the high-energy restaurant, you are welcomed by a small lounge, a full sized bar, and smiling guests and staff. The wallpaper is red with gold accents and it immediately submerges you into the environment you are about to experience. After confirming your reservation, former Pussycat Doll, Asia Nitollano, guides you to your table in the main dining room, which only seats 72 people per show.
The servers are all very enthusiastic and thrilled to have you experience a dinner like never before. They provide amazing recommendations right off the bat, because the menu can be a little overwhelming, since literally everything listed will have your mouth watering. (P.S. I suggest the avocado tempura and wild ginger edamame to start.) When your server isn't busy delivering unique sushi rolls, cooked standards, and creative cocktails, they are performing right in front of your table, creating the ultimate celebration experience in New York City.
Sushi Roxx has only been open for three weeks, but has already gained much attention from different prestigious publications and A-listers, such as the judges of America's Next Top Model. I had the pleasure of dinning at Sushi Roxx with the owner, Jason Apfelbaum, the other night, and was in awe of my experience. Picture yourself indulging in mouth watering cuisine while all of your senses are being captured with their professionally trained singers, dancers, and actors. Sounds like a perfect restaurant for your next big event, right? Let's go step by step to see just why this is the restaurant that even the New York Times believes New York City needs more of.
