The Ultimate Cheat Sheet For Handling School And Social Life

Ever feel like you have so much stuff you want to do at once, but find that there are not enough hours in the day to get it all done? Your college years will be your best years, as well as the most challenging and stressful ones. You find yourself trying to balance school, work, and social life. Apart from that, you may have to deal with family, grad school decisions, career findings, roommate problems, relationship issues, physical fitness, and your well-being in general. When life gets crazy, you become overwhelmed. That’s when you need to start focusing on priorities and how to manage your time wisely. How can you do it all? Well, I got for you the five best tips to help you balance it all.

1. Set Priorities and Schedule

Some people just love to do many things at the same time, but then realize that it is impossible, so they become overwhelmed. Develop a list of things that need to get done first. With this list done, develop a way to fit it in your day. Remember to leave some time for yourself. The best thing you can do is buy a planner. Your life will become so much easier. It will get difficult to remember all the things you have to do and assignments that must be done before deadline. This planner will have all that organized for you. The planner will become your life.

2. Organize

A mess in your room, computer, and bag means a mess in your life. Time will be wasted searching for things constantly. Apart from cleaning up, setting a list of things that need to get done will help as well. The planner is for planning out everything in general, but a list can include the little things in life that must get done.

3. Study Effectively

College involves a lot of time studying, especially when midterms or finals week get nearer. You will have to study for countless of hours, so it is important to learn how to study effectively. Spending too much time studying can be bad; it will lead to a burnout. But too little studying and trying to cram everything all at once can also lead to tragedy. So try to come up with a study schedule that will work best with your time.

4. Your Personal Needs Come First

Sleeping, eating, and exercising will become hard to do when there is no time. You must simply make time for it. Eating well is important for your well-being, so avoid junk food. Exercising regularly is also very important because it will reduce stress. Also, when you exercise, your blood supply increases and sends oxygen, which helps to better your memory, concentration, and reasoning. Make time for hanging out with friends as well.

5. Learn How To Say No

Sometimes you just have to say no. College is full of temptations and you just need to learn what you should or shouldn’t do. As fun as a night out in town sounds, think how it will leave you broke and you have an exam the next day. Is it really worth it? Prioritize your time, school, and social life.

With these five tips, you will be ready to take on anything and everything!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
