By the time we get to college, everything is different and most things are a lot harder than we thought they would be. We can't study the night before for an exam and expect to get an A. We also can't pull three straight all-nighters even though we might be tempted to. Whether your go-to place is Club Marston or Club West, you can always tell who is doing what in the library. Here are some typical college student drinks that describe how your life is currently going.
1. Starbucks Tall hot coffee
This is your classic Starbucks drink for all of us who are fanatics of the coffee house. Most of us order a tall when it's an average day with the usual amount of work and we are just in need of a small caffeine hit.
2. Starbucks Refresher
This is probably the most basic of the Starbucks drinks, but I too love my strawberry açai refreshers with coconut milk, so no judgment. Refreshers are a typical mid-day drink when it's hot outside and we want a snack with that mid-afternoon sugar kick.
3. Starbucks Frappuccino
A frappuccino is essential if you need sugar to stay awake. Usually, this drink is seen in the libraries when people are meeting their friends, trying a new frap or just want to drink some sugar. Though it's not common for a day filled with exam cramming.
4. Dunkin' Donuts coffee
For those who don't like to go to Starbucks, there's always its Midtown rival, Dunkin' Donuts. If Library West is your habitat, Dunkin Donuts will definitely be seen here. This is essential for those of us needing extra caffeine to do our projects and our homework without going to Starbucks. It's also way cheaper.
5. Coffee mug brought from home
This is the staple of any practical college student trying to save money. There are still a few left that won't go to Starbucks every day even though they get tempted all the time. Some of us just can't afford a $6 coffee twice a day.
6. Starbucks iced coffee
Iced coffee is great on a hot day during Summer B when you've gotten no sleep and you need to be alive to go to your three-hour class.
7. Rising Roll coffee
For those of us who live in Heavener, Rising Roll coffee is the way to go so we never have to leave. Their food isn't bad either!
8. Venti Starbucks coffee
Here, it gets crazy. Anytime you see a Venti the person either got absolutely no sleep and has piles of work to stay awake for or the person has a massive exam tomorrow that they have to cram for. Those organic chemistry and finance exams definitely merit some Venti coffees.
9. Vending machine coffee
Most students grab from the vending machine whenever they are too lazy to go anywhere or stand in line for fifteen minutes. They just need a quick fix of caffeine and those vending machine bottles do the trick!
10. Large Dunkin' Donuts coffee
This is one for the people who don't like Starbucks. Students will head to midtown and come back with a large coffee so they can spend the whole night in Library West studying and trying to figure out how to magically ace that exam tomorrow.
