A couple of months ago, I was given another older sister.
Thanks to AEPHI for blessing with me with another family member at my home away from home. She knows everything; it's kind of creepy, but awesome at the same time. It feels like I already knew her for 18 years. Don't ask me what I am thinking because she can tell you that. Don't ask me what I want because she would say, "Erica doesn't know what she wants because her and I can't make decisions."
We are the literal same.
It's scary that two people can be born into two different real families, but act so similar. When I am at college and homesick, I go right to her. She knows how to cheer me up like my real sister. From the moment I met her, I knew she reminded me of someone and that someone was my older sister. The best thing of having another sister at college is that she will always be there for you and will tell you the harsh truth. You now have two closets, just like home, and have someone to do your hair. She tries to embarrass you in front of the boys you try to keep a "low profile" in front of.
Ah it's just like actual home.
When I found out she lives 10 minutes from me, something inside of me told me this girl is going to be one of my bridesmaids one day. The day I walked into AEPHI, everyone kept saying, "...these girls are going to be with me at my wedding one day." At first, I didn't believe them, but now I clearly see what they were saying.
From the day I received my clues during big- little week, nothing sat right with me except the fact that you had to be my big. No one understands me like you. You knew most of my past without explanation; felt like you have been there all along. All the goodies and treats made me realize that someone just like my real sister cares as much about me. I love you so much and so glad I met one of my best friends and one of my big sisters out of 20,000 people. LML.
