In today's society, we often base our goals and expectations on what the media is trying to sell to us. This can be a negative thing, but it can also be a very positive thing. One way is through TV shows. As an avid Netflix binge-watcher, I can verify that there are some great TV shows that have friendships that are so sweet and genuine, they're are definitely worthy of the title of "Friendship Goals."
1. Leslie Knope and Ann Perkins, Parks and Recreation
NBC's "Parks and Recreation" is a hilarious show about the local parks department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. This show is hilarious and inspirational. Ann Perkins and Leslie Knope are a great example of "friendship goals," because they're always there for each other, no matter how close or far away they are.
2. Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe, Friends
I mean, the show is called Friends, so obviously, we are all going to want a friendship like theirs at least once in our lifetime. The thing I love about the friendship of these three is that they're all complete opposites of each other, but their differences don't stop them from being best friends.
3. DJ and Kimmy Gibler, Full House and Fuller House
Kimmy and DJ had a friendship I always admired. The length of their friendship is what is so amazing to me because they always remained friends and still are friends to this day. Kimmy and DJ are also complete opposites; however, they put their differences aside and make their friendship work.
4. Kelly Kapowski, Lisa Turtle, and Jessie Spano, Saved By the Bell
If you have never seen Saved By the Bell, you are missing out. This show is funny, charming, and the perfect amount of cheesy. These three girls have a friendship to be admired because they all bring out the best in each other.
5. Morgan and Garcia, "Criminal Minds"
Their friendship is one that I am so envious of. It is the perfect guy and girl friendship. They are constantly bringing each other up and have each other's back for life.
