Trump's Paris Pull-Out Is Reality TV Gold

Let's get to the root of Trump's desires.

Having the responsibility for holding the 'greatest country on Earth' title can be a lot of pressure for any country to hold, but while a contender like the United States is in decline, why not just go for the gold! With over a hundred countries on board with the Paris Climate Agreement including NORTH KOREA, that's right, (the country that fabricates reality itself and wants to blow up the world, believes we are in trouble from ourselves) we as America are not a part of the agreement.

The one glorious man who doesn't believe in climate change? Donald Trump. He was like a kid on the playground nobody wanted to play with when he was amongst European leaders, and he's now taking it out on them by pulling out of the Paris Accord. Could there have been a more childish move? Bill Maher said it best, "this is what they got for not kissing his ass like the Saudis".

This political game Trump is playing is very much like a reckless King Joffrey. Why make the smart move when you can just piss everyone who is on your side off. I just think from trying to push leaders to get in front of a photo, to see who would have the firmer handshake, to a staring contest, Trump is playing a more primitive game. Put on reality television, do you see people getting along? The more conflict, the more ratings. People must constantly remind themselves that Trump was a reality T.V. star, and his end goal is always attention. Talking nice things about the Russians gets a reaction, and that seems to be what he wants. Pissing off your allies, well that gets a reaction too so why not.

The new drug we've been given as a society has been social interaction told in numbers by social media. Trump could worry about ratings every night, but to be able to count Twitter retweets per minute, live and instantaneous with his mood. Trump feels his power through his adverse reactions more than his positive ones. The attention can be from anything, and Trump just found a new way to get high. No wonder his staff calls their meetings, "Twitter interventions", "Twitterventions" sounds way better, #twittervention.

I'm getting off topic, but it all comes down to the real problem we all face, our climate. The Inconvenient Truth is starting to become the inconvenient reality as our global temperature is reaching critical levels never seen before in human history. I personally can not get on board with Earth's demise, and we could not have a more unmotivated group of people to defend this planet in the time when it really needs us. There was the hippie generation, then the preppy, then the hipster, but not we're gonna have to evolve back into hippies if we want to get anywhere near revolutionaries. I'm overgeneralizing, but Trump's pushing past seventy and doesn't have more than two decades at least, so he doesn't have to care about the outcome of this planet, his children do. Just goes to show you how selfish he is. He has also undone a bunch of conservation efforts that include bans on hunting animals like the Eagle, yes, he is willing to destroy the face of America in that way.

If he really has nothing to hide, he has shown multiple attempts to stop Comey and now I hear he's trying to get him to not testify at all. This looks so bad, but it could be what he wants us to think. The smoke is visible, but there might just be Trump with a troll face mask on with a smoke machine in his hands while he muffles through the mask, "made you look".

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
