I can’t stand politicians as much as the next guy, but I think conservatives and liberals alike should start seeing eye to eye on one thing: Neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton deserve to be president and there’s many reasons why.

Let’s start with Hillary because she maybe, just maybe, might have less radical ideas. For starters, Hillary did something so stupid and as she tries to cover it up it doesn’t change the fact that it caused some terrible things to happen. Yes, her email scandal. Now, if you don’t know what exactly happened then I’ll just give you a little background. While Hillary was Secretary of State she relied on a private email account to send all emails instead of the usual state.gov email which is easier to monitor by the federal government. Since she neglected to use a government email the state department requested that Hilary turn over her emails, but she and her team had already deleted over 31,000 emails they deemed “personal”, sparking the major controversy. Clintons hacked emails are said to have led to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the United States compound in Benghazi. Her excuse for not using a government issued email? She didn’t want to have to carry an extra smartphone because of it. I’d sure feel like I was safe living under her in office. Not only the fact that she refused to use a safer email for convenience, but her husband was one of only two United States presidents to ever be impeached. If she wins office it’s likely Mr. Clinton will try and have some say in how our country is run and he doesn’t have a good track record. Considering she didn’t leave him after he cheated on her in office says something to me about her self-respect (sorry not sorry, he’s scum).

Now on to Mr. Trump, you either love him or hate him for his bluntness and honestly I don’t like him one bit. Sure, America could really use an honest president right now, but Trump has some pretty worrisome ideals; ideals some may compare to Nazi’s. Some examples would be suggesting that all Muslim citizens be required to have a special identification card that says what their faith is (just like the Jewish people of Germany wore the big yellow stars). He has also suggested building a wall between the United States and Mexico to prevent any immigrants from crossing the border, because we the Berlin wall worked great (note the subtle sarcasm). Overall, I think a majority of us can agree Trump is sort of off his rocker.

As the election approaches I think it is important for everyone to look at what candidate really has our best interest at heart. Whether it is in dealing with homeland security, international affairs, immigration, or whatever you deem important. Not someone who is taking direction from their corrupt husband or some guy who pretty much despises anyone who isn’t white.
