Tribute To My Bluntly Honest Friend

We all have that one friend, the one who's not afraid to tell it like it is. There's one in every friend group. This person I'm referring to would be your bluntly honest friend.

We all need a friend like this, despite the fact that these friends sometimes get a bad reputation for being too honest. We need these friends because they will tell you everything you actually need to hear, not just what you want to hear.

To my bluntly honest friend,

1. Thank you for always telling me when I should change my outfit, or when my clothes are looking outdated. You were right. Getting a new pair of Nike Roshes was in my best interest.

2. Thank you for stopping me before I'm about to make a horrible decision, like that one awful haircut I once wanted.

3. Thank you for reminding me to think realistically, and allowing me to see that I'm not always right.

4. Thank you for always sticking up for me and all of our friends.

5. Thank you for giving the best advice. Whether it's about boys, clothes, or life in general, you're the best person to go to.

6. Thank you for not letting the negative opinions of other people get in your way.

7. Thank you for telling me when I'm being dramatic.

8. Thank you for never sugar-coating things, and telling it like it is.

9. Thank you for having my back, and having my best interests at heart.

10. Thank you for caring. I know you're bluntly honest because you care.

11. Thank you for being my bluntly honest friend.
