As finals approach and everyone is starting to (if not already) stress out. I am also stressing out over finals (especially Biology) and one thing I find that is a great de-stresser is watching reality shows. Watching reality shows is one of my guilty pleasures and it's one thing that gives me a good laugh and relaxes me.
In my opinion, the best four right now are:
Total Divas
Total Bellas
Keeping Up with the Kardashians
WAGS
Total Divas is great to watch and if you're a wrestling fan (like me) you'll love it. It's full of messy drama and fun shenanigans. The show has its permanent cast members and it gains new members each season. I find it fun to watch because well the women on the show are some of my favorite wrestlers, so that's my main reason, but I really like it because they seem to have a lot of fun when they're not wrestling and they enjoy having a good time and seeing their friends and family.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians is probably one of the best reality shows on TV today. You either dislike them or you don't. People claim that they're famous for absolutely no reason, but I see it as that someone like Kim Kardashian built an empire from just a small little sex tape. Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Kendall, and Kylie have all made their selves famous and I do enjoy this show because yes they can afford a lot more than the average person, but it's also entertaining to see them complain about stuff you'd never even think about. It has humor, family, love, and drama. If you watch the show, then you'll realize that they aren't bad people, like the media wants them to be like.
Total Bellas is the spin off of Total Divas and it features Nikki and Brie, The Bella Twins. They recently just had their first season and it has been renewed for a second season. I watched it because I love the Bella Twins and it talked about real issues that Nikki and Brie are dealing with outside of their work. I admire how hard Nikki worked to recover from her neck injury and I admire how helpful Brie was to her husband and sister during their hard times.
WAGS is a new show I recently starting watching because I just adore Barbie Blank. She is a former professional wrestler and I was a huge fan of hers when I was younger. So, I started watching it and I loved it. I totally want to be a wag myself and this is a great view of what some of the women do. WAGS stands for Wives And Girlfriends of high-profile professional athletes. Majority of the WAGS are with football players and I do wish they would add some baseball players in there.
A lot of people find reality shows to be a waste of time, but if you actually sat down and watched it, you'd enjoy it. Scripted or not, it will give you a good laugh when you need it and the best reaction pictures for twitter!
