If you haven't heard by now, for the last five years, Pure Barre has been the latest workout craze among women (and men!) across the country. Here are my top 10 reasons why giving this incredible workout a try is more than worth it!

1) Pure Barre Ledge anyone...?

...which is really just a nice way of saying your butt will look fantastic within about four weeks of beginning classes. The "lift" in "lift, tone, burn" is no joke.

2) The Music

Everyone who is a Pure Barre client knows that half the experience revolves around the amazing playlists that Pure Barre provides. They not only keep you motivated the either class, they're just flat out good.

3) The Warmup

Warmup is easily one of the hardest parts of class... but also the most worth it. When you finally hold the 90-second plank, or when you make it through weight work without stopping, there's no better feeling.

4) THE SOCKS

Pure Barre just introduced a brand new line of socks that are stickier and thinner. They're amazing for holding your balance and keeping you grounded during the hardest parts of a Pure Barre class. Plus, they just look cute!

5) The People

The staff, instructors and clients are PB are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, not to mention they help to keep you motivated during the toughest parts of class. Some of the best friendships are formed at the barre!

6) The Different Parts of Class

From weight work to thighs, and seat and abs and everywhere in between (literally), Pure Barre doesn't miss a beat when it comes to providing a full body workout. This class changes your body in ways a plain old run couldn't (but make no mistake, running is a great supplement to PB classes!)

7) The PB Culture

The culture surrounding this company and workout is so positive. Instructors and studio owners truly want you to get the most out of each class, and will make sure you work your hardest each time you attend. It's always a good day to LTB.

If you haven't yet, hit up your local Pure Barre studio and try out this phenomenal workout — you won't regret it!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
