If you're like me, you're probably trying to figure out what to do this summer. Maybe you're looking for an internship to get you through the summer, or maybe a job, or even hanging out with friends. But there's always those boring days. Days you don't feel like going out, rainy days or long car rides to trips. I'm probably obsessed with YouTube more than anything. I watch videos to keep my mind occupied, and it gives me entertainment and a reason to laugh. Here are ten of my favorite YouTubers to watch over the summer. Maybe one may interest you. Each channel is linked on the heading for viewing purposes!
1. Rosanna Pansino
Love geeking out? Love making food? Well, Rosanna's channel is for you! Each week she takes themes suggested in the comments and turns them into tasty treats or delicacies. If you want a good cooking channel to create fun dishes for the summer, Ro's channel is for you!
2. Good Mythical Morning!
Are you an early bird? Well here's a talk show that will brighten up your day at 7 AM. Good Mythical Morning!, hosted by Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neil, is a talk show that has games, food testings, information videos and more about the most random of topics and ideas. A great start to any morning.
3. The Late Show with Steven Colbert
Now I know what you're thinking; isn't this a television show? Well, the answer is, yes it is! But who can stay up that late? Stephen Colbert uploads all of the clips to YouTube and boy are they funny! If you can't stay up that late, I'd recommend watching them the next day!
4. What's Inside...?
Ever wondered what's inside golf balls? How about a pair of Jordans or an authentic helmet from DJ Marshmello? Well, leave it to father and son duo Dan and Lincoln Markham to do that for you. This channel is an interesting and scientific channel, and interesting if you want to see the inner workings of gadgets and all sorts of products.
5. SuperMarioLogan
Remember those videos you made as a child with you making your stuffed animals talk? Need a good laugh and hints of nostalgia? Well leave it to Logan Thirtyacre and his friends do that for you! They take Mario from Nintendo and his friends and make hilarious videos. Warning: there is adult content in these videos, but if you don't get offended easy, you'll enjoy these videos tremendously!
6. Casey Neistat
When someone mentions vlogs, one of a few names will come up. Casey is usually in that list. A New York City resident and YouTube pioneer, Casey's vlogs are often well edited and a very unique experience to watch. I recommend him for any future YouTubers reading these articles.
7. Markiplier
Oh Markiplier, known for your infamous gameplay, charity work, and comedic sketches. Any gamers reading this article knows this name well. Anyone needing a laugh, a spook or help with a video game should watch Mark's videos or his charity livestream!
8. CinemaSins
Ever wonder what goes wrong in movies (or about someone's opinions)? This channel is for you! Name a movie: this guy will find something wrong with it (and all in good fun and humor). And we're not talking about flaws with the film, mostly what goes on in the plot.
9. The Slow Mo Guys
Another science channel, but put through slow motion. Ever imagine what a battery looks like exploding in slow motion? Well, Gavin and Dan will do that for you. It is very unique to watch and often cool to see things slowed down to mere seconds. A channel to watch if you're looking for scientific things to watch.
10. RomanAtwoodVlogs
If you know me well, this last one should not be any surprise to you. Roman Atwood is probably my favorite on this list and for good reason. His life with his girlfriend Britney, sons Noah and Kane (as well as a baby girl on the way), dog Flash and donkey (yes a donkey) Empire, as well as his friends and family show what family value is and the importance of positivity. His vlogs are hilarious and a great feel good way to end a day. Smile more!
