As a young college student almost halfway done with her college career, I often think about a lot of things. Too many things to be honest, and sometimes in the process of thinking about those too many things, I often ponder about the future. As college students, we often think about what we want to accomplish and strive in not just after college but throughout our whole entire life. We make these hopes, dreams, and have these kinds of ambitions to keep us alive, and even though they may seem a bit unrealistic, they are definitely possible.

Overall, no matter what happens from now until the end of your lifetime, start thinking about what kind of legacy you want to leave on this earth. Most importantly, begin to initiate what kinds of activities, milestones, and goals you aspire to reach.

Here are the top 10 things everyone, especially college students, should want to do before they die:

1. Go to Coachella!

I know this is totally random but if you love music, Coachella is the place to be throughout any time of your life. Coachella has days full of the latest hottest music artists, bands, and all different kinds of music genre concerts that happen within the span of an entire week. It's fun, crazy, wild, and something memorable everyone should experience.

2. Buy your dream house/build your own house!

Everyone wants to have something that they can call their own. So, why not have your own property one day? Buying a house is a really big responsibility but one of the best milestone anyone should try to achieve within their lives.

3. Travel to the place of your dreams!

Go on your ultimate dream vacation! Don't miss out on that opportunity to travel to that place you always wanted to go to as a kid. Entice in your well-being by taking your time to see the world.

4. Write your own book!

Become an author and possibly a NY Times BestSeller! Write what you are passionate about and share your wisdom with others. Writing your own novel or fanfiction and getting it published will surely stand out.

5. Get married or be in a long-lasting committed relationship!

I know everyone does not wish to get married or have children but why not at least spend or find that one special person you want to absolutely spend the rest of your life, with even if marriage is not in the picture. Find love within yourself and your significant other.

6. Do something daring/challenging/exciting outside of your comfort zone.

Do something that you don't want to end up later regretting because you never tried it. Don't second guess yourself, just be spontaneous at least once and go bungy jumping, skydiving, or parasailing.

7. Buy a really nice car/your dream car.

Everyone wants to gain that independence of driving and getting their first car. But what about being able to buy your own car once your career is set? Save up to own your car one day, not lease but own! There's a difference because owning the car that you've always wanted is a great sign of success.

8. Have an established career that you actually enjoy throughout your life!

Wake up happy and looking forward to going to your job every single day. Work for a company that puts its employees first rather than money.

9. Try out for a competition to receive an award.

Maybe you've always had a hidden talent of singing, dancing, or cooking. Why not try out for "The Voice", "Hell's Kitchen", or "So You Think You Can Dance?"

10. Find who you truly are, discover your closest friends, and cherish your family.

I know this last one is a bit cliche but we all need these three things for our lives to be fully complete.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
