"Are you okay?" "what's wrong you look upset?". Nope thats just my face. As a person who rarely shows any emotion, getting these questions get's very annoying. Some of us just don't show how we are feeling, it doesn't mean we are emotionless. Being dramatic when something happens isn't really my way of doing things. Acting cool, calm, and collected (most of the time) is how I go about life.
There are a few downsides to never showing emotion though. Like when something really amazing happens and everyone is ecstatic and crying and you're just like... "yay". It's hard to get excited let alone show emotions when you are excited. Nothing is worse than having to act like you're excited for something when honestly you could care less. Being low key emotionless makes you become a really good actor because you constantly have to act like you care.

Of course we get happy when good stuff happens but we just don't always show it. We like to save our emotions for when something really amazing happens (like when the Cubs win!). Not saying that we are constantly emotionless and go through life feeling nothing, we just are more reserved with how we express them.

No we are not sad, not dead inside, we just aren't showing you what we are feeling. There's nothing wrong with being a little conservative with your emotions, that's just how some of us are. Don't be afraid to show or not show emotion, just be you!
