To the man that God choose for me,

From the moment we met till the moment I say “I do” to you, I prayed for you and it wasn’t a simple prayer. When I was 17, I started praying, praying that God would use you in mighty ways. That God would prepare your heart for mine, and that he would use your eyes, ears, mouth, and nose in a way that I could never imagine. And that God would burden your heart for what breaks his. I prayed for all the characteristics I hope to see in you. I would pray that you would find joy and happiness in every day, and that you would show love and care in everything you do. I prayed, prayed, and prayed some more! It was a journey getting to where I am, but if I had to wait even longer to be with you, I would. Like I used to cry over how God has an amazing plan for both of us and how I didn’t know who you were, what you looked like, what God was doing in your life, what battle you were facing and I couldn’t be there to give some support, how your devotion was that day and how God spoke to you through it, and etc., but I know that your absolutely perfect for me. God created you perfectly in his eyes and I can’t wait for the moment that you become (or maybe you have already become) perfect in my eyes, every little quirky and cute thing about you! I’m extremely excited for the moment that I’m standing in front of you at our wedding, knowing that the man in front of me is a child of the King. The moment where we become in unison with each other like in Mark 10:7 ( “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together let man not separate.”). And just to think that the love we share is only a portion of how much God loves us! God made us to love each other and most importantly to love Him tremendously. I can’t wait to see where our journey, God has planned, takes us. And to see where God wants us to serve, wether it be in our backyard doing local mission work or in another country doing international missions. If God calls you or both of us somewhere, know this, I will stand by you in 100% support. I hope that through us and through our relationship that others can see God pouring in and out of us. In everything we do by ourselves and in our relationship, we do it for the glory of God and not out of selfish desires or ambitions. And when we go through battles and struggles I pray that our faith will stand strong and that we will be strong for each other. I hope that the people around us are effected by us in a good way. That the people we poured into before we even met continue to be affected by us daily. From the moment we were born God had a plan. Every decision we made, every road we took it was apart of God’s plan. God’s plan was for me to be with you and to live the rest of my life with you. I can’t wait to do so! So, if I’m giving this to you then you’re a pretty lucky man and I must have found the guy God has planned for me! I’m so excited for what is to come!
