Congrats, you got yourself a good one!

She's one of the most amazing human beings you could ever ask for. So that must mean you're pretty cool if you got my best friend so cheers to you! There's just some things you have to know before you make it official.

She has been through hell and back. She's had a good amount of heart breaks, let downs, and liars. And still to this day she continues to give her all despite her past. She has more strength than anyone could ever imagine. Everything she has been through has put her down but she had the strength to get back up and keep fighting for love that kept letting her down. Don't take her for granted because despite her past she puts her all into a relationship.

You will be so lucky to have her by your side. I've never met anyone more compassionate, loving, caring person in my life. She's got a wild side but also a calm side. It's like mountains and an ocean; one minute there's nothing going on and its peaceful and quiet, the next theres chaos. So thank you for taking up the part to deal with her, after I did for so many years.

She has the biggest heart. She cares for people she shouldn't care for and does her best to give back to people in the world. She meets people and her first impression lasts with them forever because of how friendly she is toward everyone. And anyone the hurts her in a friendship she will forgive sooner or later. She just has a big heart and cares for many people in her life. She will always put others before herself in any situation and she always sees the best in people and tries to help them reach their full potential. So I know she'll take good care of you because she's taken such good care of others throughout her life

She has big dreams. This girl knows what she wants and there will be nothing that's going to stop her. She may have some bumps in the road but she knows her goals in life. If you doubt her, she will prove you wrong in a satisfying way. As her future husband, don't doubt her dreams, support her in whatever she chooses to do with her future. If you support her too, her dreams will become even more of a reality and the future will be great for both of you.

Always remember that she is my best friend and I'm never going away. You'll have to deal with my constant face time calls to update her on my life or ask for support and even give me support yourself. Marrying her is marrying into the family and I'm family anyone could tell you that. I love her just as much as you do but in different ways. I know the love won't be the same towards her but understand this; there will be things she will only talk to me about. There will be nights of just her and I. You can't get upset at this, it doesn't mean she loves you less. It just means that there's a special bond between us that can't be broken and sometimes a girl just needs her best friend.

So hopefully you read this and continue to love her anyway. I also just wanted to thank you for making her happy, if she chose you then you must be pretty lucky because I know I am to have an amazing person like her in my life. But if you cannot understand, love, and cherish all these parts of her then I'll be the first one to tell you that you don't deserve her. But if you can understand, love, and cherish all of these parts of her, I promise you that she will give you the entire world, heck maybe even the universe. She's a rare, beautiful, amazing person and if she's happy with you, I'm happy that she has you.

Sincerely,

Her First Other Half

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
