To My New Sorority Sisters

When I first started college, I was scared. I didn't know where I would fit in, who I would talk to, and my biggest fear was having to eat by myself. One of my friends convinced me to join a sorority, and while I was super nervous, I decided to do it. I can honestly say it has been one of the best things I could have done, because now I have found my home away from home with my new sisters.

So to all my new sisters(all 173 of you),

I love you guys already. Even though I haven't technically met all of you, I know how great each of y'all are, because I know what our values are. I now know I have so many girls to look up to. With all thats been going on lately, I have never received so many texts or calls. The fact that we might not even know each other, but that you would offer to drive wherever at any time if I needed makes me sure that I will always have someone to lean on. I can't wait to really get to know all of you, and I already know I'll love each of you.

Thank you in advance. I know there will be times I run crying to the house because of a stupid boy, or because I failed a test. Thank you for allowing me to always come over and cry, no matter how crazy or busy your lives may be. Thank you for already being that backbone I need, whether it be with school, friendships, or anything at all. Thank you for dealing with my rants, which have already started. Thank you for letting me be myself around you, no matter how weird I am sometimes. I'm seriously thankful for each of you, and I couldn't ask for better sisters who push me to be my best.

Lastly, I am so excited. Whether it be our formals, our sleepovers, or our late night study dates, I absolutely can not wait for all the memories I know being in a sorority will bring me. Thanks to y'all I will never be alone or not have someone to eat with.

I now know that no matter what happens in college, I have all of my sisters to fall back on. Never in a million years would I have thought I would say that I have 173 sisters, but I am incredibly grateful for each of you. I am so thankful that I was lucky enough to find my home away from home with you, and now instead of being nervous or scared about college, I have a new perspective. I am now excited and can't wait to share all of my college years with y'all by my side.

I love y'all more than words.
