An Open Letter To My Little Sister

Hey baby sis,

For starters, I love you. I wouldn't know what to do without you. Not only are you a ray of sunshine in my life, but you make the whole world a better place with your presence. Even though you annoy me sometimes, and I may not understand some of your ways, I love you for you and only you.

You are absolutely beautiful.

You may still be at the age in life where you don't really care what you look like or what others think of you. And that is good, stay that way. No matter what others may say, you are gorgeous. You are made in the image of God, and God don't make junk.

Know Your Worth.

A stupid boy may cross your path one day and make you feel terrible about yourself, and make you feel like you don't deserve the best. That is not true. You deserve to be treated like a princess, after all, you are the daughter of a King, the one and only Jesus Christ. And If a boy ever makes you feel unworthy, GET RID OF HIM and come to big sis for a shoulder to cry on.

You will always be my best friend.

We may not always agree on certain things, but just like a best friend I will always be there for you. Ill be there for the good times like on your 16th birthday, and when you start driving, I'll be there when you graduate high school, I'll be there on your wedding day when you say "I do" to the man of your dreams, and I'll be there for the bad times when a dumb boy breaks your heart, or if you break down on the side of the road. Baby sis I'll be there for you!

Know that you always have been and always will be loved.

Goodness I love you. I remember when Mama told me I was gonna have a baby sister. I was so excited to be your big sister! Words can't even describe the feeling I felt when I held you for the first time. I was overwhelmed by your beauty and I still am. You are an amazing person little sis and Just always know that I love you to death and that will never change.
