To my current sisters,

Thank you and god bless all of your souls. I don't know how we are getting through these sleepless weeks of talking to future new members, but I'm glad we are getting through it together. Thank you for staying up with me. Thanks for snuggling with me (roomies, you know who you are). Thanks for being real. Thanks for the memories. This is such a memorable time for all of us. Getting to know each other while getting new sisters is one of the best experiences I have had so far in college. Thank you for making it that way. I look forward to our late night wings after all of the rounds are done for the day. I look forward to being real with all of you. I am so proud of how far we have all come, and I still look back on the day when we ran up to our new sisters. I look forward to all of the experiences as great as those. I look forward to spending them with you. You have all been my support system this past year, and I don't know what I would be doing without all of you. I am excited that we will be someone else's support system in just a few days. I am excited to be able to support girls the way everyone supported me. So thank you. I love you all dearly and deeply and know that we will be sisters forever.

To my future sisters,

Holy cow, I feel like I was just in your shoes. A nervous PNM just wanting to find my place. I was nervous and scared that the girls wouldn't like me or that I would say the wrong thing, but don't be. We are thinking the same thing. We are so excited to meet our future sisters! We already love all of you, and I know this is going to be a fantastic year. We have been preparing for this moment forever and just want to meet all of you as much as you want to meet all of us. We want to meet our future littles and future best friends. We want to show you guys the ropes and how to function in sorority life. So don't be nervous to talk to us. We just want to get to know the real you. We Netflix binge and eat junk food, too. Tell me what shows you watch, odds are I probably watch them too. So relax and enjoy the rest of recruitment. Before you know it you will be on the other side!

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
