There are so many things that I could be thanking you for. Many of these things I have already thanked you for over and over again. You have given me something really special in the time that you have been in my life, and you have made me feel a part of your family. I finally feel like I belong and that I will always be welcomed with open arms. You have touched my heart in many ways and this letter is for you.

 

Thank you for opening your hearts and your home to me from day one.

 

I am so shy when first meeting new people and I can’t thank you enough for this one. I felt a part of the family and it really helped me to open up to you guys and feel comfortable talking to you. I am very thankful to have been included in every family gathering, every event, and every dinner from day one.

 

Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

 

I have had a hard time feeling accepted into my own family sometimes, and to be able to be accepted for who I am is an amazing feeling. I will be forever grateful for you welcoming me with open arms.

 

Thanks for including me in all of the family gatherings.

 

I have never had so much fun at a family gathering until I began coming to yours, I have made so many memories and I will forever be grateful for them.

 

Thank you for treating me like one of your own.

 

I know that if I have any problems or if I am struggling with anything I know that I can come to you and you will be there for me.

 

Thank you for feeding me.

 

Some of the best memories are shared over food, and I love food, it’s the fastest way to my heart. So thank you for feeding me all the time!

 

Thank you for being my second set of parents.

 

Knowing that you’re always there as my second mom and dad is awesome! I have two times the parents and I feel twice as loved! I always know I can count on you guys if I need anything.

 

Thank you for letting me date your son.

 

My life would be so different without him, thank you for letting me be a part of his life and yours.

 

Thank you for raising an amazing man.

 

This is what I am most thankful for, you have raised an amazing man that I get to call my best friend, and you did an amazing job and I can’t thank you enough for that!

 

I know that I will never be able to say thank you enough for all of the wonderful things you do for me, so just know that I love you and thank you for everything.
