Thank you. Thank you a million times and more. Thank you for using your voice, your position, your fame, and your talent to speak out against something that too many people keep silent about: sexual assault.

Thank you for choosing to reflect the realities of what college students like me face daily instead of releasing just another song that people like to dance to. Thank you for giving strength, courage, and perseverance to those individuals that don’t feel like they have any strength left after dealing with their case of sexual assault.

For some, it doesn’t get better. Others can’t hold their heads up. Not everyone can just pull it together and act fine. You sing those lyrics. You highlight those harsh realities. You share the truth with the world. For that, I am incredibly grateful.

Thank you for showing all of the different types of abuse that we deal with. You didn't discriminate against types of abuse while showing how sexual assault doesn't discriminate against anyone. You portrayed a graphic depiction of sexual assault, yes, but in doing that, you portrayed an honest, accurate and unfortunately realistic depiction of what happens entirely too much, especially on college campuses.

Finally, thank you for ending your video with positivity. Most of all, thank you for ending with positivity present because that shows there is hope. That shows how we have the ability to make a difference and end this issue. That shows no matter how we feel, we are not alone.

Lady Gaga, you didn’t speak up for the victims of sexual assault. You screamed at the top of your lungs for the survivors of sexual assault all over the world.
