I know it can't just be me who flips through the channels on the TV and thinks to myself, 'Gee, TV just isn't as good as it used to be!" Every TV show on right now shares the same basic roles, just different characters and story plots. TV just ain't what it used to be.

Why can't the parent's be funny and smart like they are in real life? Why is the older brother always the 'not so smart one' and the youngest child always the smartest? Anyways, I figured it was about time that I do a little THROWBACK to my favorite childhood TV shows. Hopefully, some of y'all can relate. Trust me, you won't find any blogging and talking dogs here.

9 TV Shows That Will Take You Back To Your Childhood

1. "That's So Raven, it's the future I can see".

Always getting her groove on, always 'seeing' the future even if it wasn't accurate, and always, always, always having a good time. Her family and friends mattered the most to her.

2. Kim Possible.

"Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me. Doesn't matter where, it doesn't matter when, I will be there for you till the very end." Crime fighting, power punching, taco eating superhero! Don't tell me you didn't want to be Kim Possible... maybe you wanted to be Sheila or Dr. Draco — either or, this show rocked!

3. Phil of the Future.

Did you ever want to know what it was like to meet someone from the future? Well, now's your chance to see what the future holds and the cool gizmos that come with it. All you gotta do is be Phil's best friend. Maybe he will even take you with him on his next vacation.

4. Hannah Montana.

"You get the limo out front, *ooh ah ooh* hottest styles every shoe, every color. Yeah when you're famous it can be kinda fun, it's really you but no one ever discovers." Hannah Montana, before she became Miley Cyrus. Kids these days will never understand Rico and his brilliant plans, they will never have a reason to remember what a mullet is, and they will never know the cheese jerky song.

5. Wizards of Waverly Place.

This show will forever have me singing a song whenever I hear the name, "Kiera Knightley" or whenever I see a funky hat... oh no... here it comes... "What's that, a hat, crazy funky junky hat. Overslept, hair unslightly, trying to act like Kiera Knightley. We've been there, we've done that, we see right through your funky hat."

6. Jonas.

The time we all had crushes on all three of the Jonas brothers for a whole bunch of different reasons. Here began the season of life when all we listened to was their music.

7. Sunny with a Chance.

This show. The acting. The drama. The feud between studios. This show will always be one of my favorites. As silly as it may have been... at least it wasn't a talking dog who writes a blog... am I right?

8. Phineas and Ferb.

I couldn't make this list and not include this show! To this day, I still have the whole theme song memorized. Don't believe me? Well, I would prove it, but thats a little too much to type for this one picture. Besides, how can we skip over the fact that this show was all about summer vacation, yet we never saw an episode where they actually went back to school... Poor Candance, no one ever believes her.

9. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

If only hotel life was actually this fun, I might stay at hotels more often. I will never forget when London was being taught how to drive, and she called the gear shift the "Prindle", or when Raven visited NY and spent all her vacation money on tourist key chains so she had to live off of food flavored gum for the rest of her trip.

Can we all just appreciate how amazing these shows were? Maybe you didn't watch all of them, or maybe you did. Maybe sometime you and I can have a throwback night where all we do is watch all the old TV shows that we grew up with. I would be okay with that. I'll bring the pizza and the popcorn, and we can rock out to all the theme songs that for some reason we still have memorized!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
