It takes a lot of energy to finally get yourself to the gym, especially during the cold months. Once you are at the gym we all have the same thoughts running through our mind for that short time we are there...
1. How many more crunches until I have abs?
Having abs or at least a flat stomach is one of the things that girls aim for. So as we are doing these ab workouts: crunches, twist, kicks, scissors, the list goes on and on, we want to know when we, and even other people, will see results. We love to hear that our workouts are working and people can tell the difference.
2. Can I eat a burger after this workout?
I just did 100 flights of stairs, it is totally acceptable to eat a burger after this, right...
3. I wonder how much that girl had to work out to get that bod...
While you are at the gym, it is just natural to look around to see who else is in the gym and you are bound to see fit girls. You cannot help but ask yourself "What did she do to look like that? I want to look like her..."
4. Do I have Victoria Secrets body yet?
Everyone admires Victoria Secrets models and want to look just like they do when you are trying to find swimsuits for this season. So it only makes sense to continue to ask yourself how much longer until you look like one of them.
5. I could be on season 2 by now if I would have stayed home...
The entire time you are at the gym, you are most likely thinking of all the other things you could be doing. You could be watching Netflix, eating food or just laying in bed doing nothing.
6. How many more squats until I have a butt like Kim K?
Most girls just really want to have a nice butt that looks good in leggings and is difficult to squeeze into jeans. The way to that? SQUATS.
7. How is that person doing all those different things on the treadmill?
The "coolest" thing you can do is walk on an incline. However, the person next to you is walking side ways, backwards and many other things that if you ever tried to do, would fall flat on your face.
8. Lastly, I got this!
The most important thing to do is to believe in yourself. There will be days when you are sore more then usual or it's difficult to do that last set of legs, but you just have to tell yourself that you got this and push through!
