6 Thoughts We All Have Watching The Bachelorette
ew

We all know the Monday ritual: get home, put on your most comfy pajamas, grab a glass of wine or pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (or both) and get emotionally ready for The Bachelorette. We all think the same things, while watching the show or even say the same things out loud. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" did a segment on The Bachelorette and showed a video pf Jojo’s reactions while watching the show. Jojo's feelings are the same as most of us watching at home. Here are some thoughts that undoubtedly go through your mind while watching The Bachelorette at home.

1. DON’T GIVE HIM THE ROSE!

From day one we can already tell who is a total weeny and who is potentially husband material. From the first episode to the last we think or most likely yell “NOOO!” as she hands the rose to the wrong guy time after time. It's really hard to watch someone have faith in a person who is obviously there for the wrong reasons. In the end we trust she will give her final rose to the right guy.

2. Her outfits are amazing…

Throughout each episode whether Jojo appears in a ball gown or firefighter gear she looks amazing. We cant help but want to go shopping in her closet and look as amazing in her outfits as she does.

3. Are grown men usually this immature?

It can be expected when a bunch of attractive and confident eligible bachelors get together and compete for anything, let alone a beautiful woman, there will be some tension and immaturity going on. Taking off almost all of your clothes on the very first episode is probably not the best call. Neither is drinking yourself into oblivion before trying to talk to Jojo…take notes boys this isn’t rocket science.

4. We all think we know who will win.

Or at least come close to winning. As a woman, I consider myself a pretty good judge of character especially when it comes to men. If you aren’t rooting for Jordan, the former NFL player, who are you rooting for? We all pick our favorites early on and become emotionally invested in their success. We stress just as much as they do during the rose ceremony.

5. WHY?

If you are a fan of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, then you say this at least 50 times an episode. The first impression cheesy punch lines usually cause the majority of these "WHY?!" moments. Whether one of the guys says something rude to Jojo or one of the other guys you cant help but wonder why? Don’t waste energy being rude on a show that is centered around winning people over! Don’t strip down to your man thong on the first day, don’t drunkenly embarrass yourself, don’t just don’t.

6. How does her hair stay perfect (even in the wind!)

Only Jojo knows how to look flawless while almost getting blown over by a helicopter. Her outfits might be amazing, but everyone can buy clothes. Money cant buy hair that looks that amazing, and if you can, the rest of us haven’t figured it out yet.

We’re all excited to see where the season goes but after the first episode we all have already thought or said these things a million times. The Bachelorette is an emotional roller coaster, but we are all too invested to stop watching. So get your jammies and ice cream ready and wait until Monday to vicariously live through Jojo again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
