"Study." Even the word makes me cringe. Do you know what the worst part of studying is? The fact that we have to do it in order to be successful in school and beyond.
I will be the first to admit that when I first got to college, I had no idea how to study. In high school, they basically teach you to memorize stuff and then answer basic questions on a test that you are just going to forget the next week.
The worst part of college is your first exam with a new teacher. You have no idea how to study for their class or what the design of the test is going to be. Those are just a portion of the thoughts every student has when studying for an exam.
1. "What did our parents do without Quizlet?"
2. "What did our parents do without 'Crash Course' videos?"
3. "What chapters am I even supposed to be studying?"
4. "I could use a study break right about now."
5. "I wonder if any of my friends know what is going on in this class."
6. "I just hope I finish the test early so I can leave early."
7. "Let's hope there's a curve."
