Thoughts Everyone Has In A High School Hallway

1. Your feet DO go faster than you are moving them.

2. Do you even think before you speak?

3. Is it really necessary to have a full-blown conversation while standing in the middle of the hallway? We aren't trying to walk or anything.

4. Your boyfriend will be here 40 minutes later, you do not need to kiss him goodbye 20 times. I promise, you will survive. You will get through this together.

5. The "did that person just smile at me?" but they really didn't even though you smiled back..

6. Why must you scream so loud. You friend is next to you. It's 7:00am. No one cares if he liked your picture.

7. No one cares what you're listening to. No one wants to know, and we don't want to hear it either.

8. Were you ever taught to talk to an adult with respect?

9. Everyone would be on time to class if they didn't have a cell phone attached to their face while walking.

10. There are two sides of the hallway for a reason, one goes one way and the other goes the other way, simple math here people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
