I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to go away to school. I’ve learned so much academically, learned to live on my own, grown as a person and I have made the most amazing friends. I’ve laughed, cried, laugh and cried at the same time with these people. Without them, my college experience wouldn't have been half as great. Below are 13 reasons as to why your college BFFs are the absolute best.
1. You basically have sleepovers 24/7.
Who doesn’t love slumber parties?
2. 1 a.m.? You want McDonald’s? One of them will definitely be down.
Like, who wouldn’t want a McFlurry at one in the morning?
3. You’ve managed not to hurt each other throughout the stress of finals and midterms.
We all get a little cranky during finals.
4. They still love you after seeing what you look like in the morning.
I ain’t cute in the morning. Thanks for lovin’ me anyway though.
5. They also still love you whenever you get hangry.
You’re not you when you’re hungry. You’re hungry and angry = HANGRY.
6. You can do absolutely nothing with them and still have the time of your lives.
Me: Want to come to my room and take a nap or something?
BFF: Hell yeah.
7. They still consider you their friend after you’ve drunkenly ugly cried to them.
That means a lot.
8. You’re brutally honest with one another.
Do you like this selfie? Be honest.
9. They’re great gym/diet partners….for the most part.
BFF: Wanna go to the gym? And eat salads for dinner?
Me: Yes!!

Me: Wanna go to the gym?
BFF: Not really. Come get fries with me. And ice cream.
Me: Kk.
10. It’s always a judge-free zone.
Did you eat 12 chicken nuggets in two minutes? Only a true friend would applaud that accomplishment.
11. They’re the perfect Secret Santa partners when the holidays roll around.
Nine out of 10 times, it’s never a secret. You always end up telling each other who you have.
12. They're great shopping partners. And encourage you to buy those cute shoes you’ve been wanting.
Me: Ugh, I love these but I’m sooo broke.
BFF: YOLO?
Me: You’re right.
13. You’ve all lived together for four years.
If you guys managed to live together for years, nothing else can stop you.
