Everyone has something that annoys them or does not sit well with them. It could be something super extreme or just a tiny thing that can set people off. In the past 18 years, I have come to find that there are few things that really annoy me most in this world. As Peter Griffin would say, "You know what really grinds my gears."
1. Pen Clicking
This one is not a super huge issue, but it is still quite annoying at times. The worst is when I'm in class and trying to listen to the professor, but the guy next to me thinks it's a great idea to click his pen as fast as humanly possible. I honestly think he's trying to see how fast his thumb can click a pen without pausing.
2. Loud Chewing
Once again, this is not a big issue, but it can still drive me insane. I love you all, but I really do not want to see what you decided to eat for lunch today. This one is not only a problem to me, but I know many people who would like to shove your face in your food to get you to stop.
3. Crazy Drivers
This could really be an entire article in itself, but I'll condense it a little. Please stop riding my butt when I'm already going five over the speed limit. Stop revving your engine because you think it's cool because it's really not. Please stop making hand gestures at me when you don't get your way. If having your brights on while you're driving behind me is your idea of payback because you couldn't pass me back at the dotted lines, please grow up. I want us all to get home safely and I want this trip to be over just as much as you do.
4. Shows That Get Canceled
I hate finding a show on Netflix, or starting a show on TV, only to find a year later that you've decided to no longer continue the series. How am I supposed to know if the guy and the girl get together, or if the world is going to end because of mass destruction? If anything, I would really appreciate a letter detailing the events that were going to have taken place, so I at least have some kind of closure. The one to two season shows are hurting my soul.
5. Expensive Bras
Listen, I get it, everyone needs a way to make their living and I know people want to make money off of their business. All I am asking is why a certain undergarment store, that is usually in the mall, thinks it's OK to charge $30+ on their bras? I just want to buy a nice bra that has good support that isn't the same price as a family of three going out to dinner.
6. Expensive Makeup
I just wanted to buy a lipstick, so you can understand why I didn't when my lipstick is $25. I don't even want the liner! I love makeup, but it is really hard to find nice quality items that won't break my bank.
Of course, some of these things are really not that important, and I know some of these things may not make your list of things that annoy you, but a few of them are pretty high my list. Comment some of the things that annoy you most below!
