One of my biggest guilty pleasures is watching "The Bachelorette." Each season, I enjoy making brackets of the potential candidates and gossiping with my best friends about the drama on the show. I'm not alone. There is what is called a "Bachelor Nation", which is the name of the TV franchise's strong following. It is composed of fans who are extremely loyal to the show. These are the people who dedicate their wardrobe, workouts, social media, and drinking festivities around it and its content. However, sometimes fans get a little too carried away and even base their concept of reality around the show. While tuning in each week, here are a few things you should keep in mind:
1. Kissing multipule different men living under the same roof, isn't as socially acceptable in the real world as it is on the show. The tweet says it all.
2. You can't get a job as a "pantsapreneur". Trust me, I've tried. It's not even a real profession.
3. Going on a date shouldn't resemble a round of the Hunger Games. One bachelorette accompanied by ten potential suitors for a intimate dinner date? What could go wrong?!
4. Nobody looks that put together 24/7. How is it possible that everyone on the show always looks so done up?! Even while they're working out!
5. Day to day life isn't exciting enough to turn into a new workout craze. "20 squats for every bill you owe" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
