College is a huge change for everyone and sometimes despite our moms best efforts we forgot or do not buy something we later regret. The crazy thing is that when we get here we realize that we are missing lots of essentials for college kids. Here are just some simple things and why they are necessary for all college students.
1. Eno
A necessity for all college students. An eno is one of the most relaxing things on earth. Us being the stressed out college students we are, really need one of these. The price may be a little high, but it’s totally worth it. The views and adventures we will make from this are priceless.
2. Thermos
It does not matter if the class is at 8 in the morning or noon. Coffee is always a necessity in college. Without coffee, you will not be able to get through college. Regardless of the thermos brand, any will do the job of keeping your coffee warm.
3. Swimming Suit/Trunks
As hard as it is to believe, you will probably at some point in time end up swimming during college. It’s better to be prepared then regret it later on. The lake is always a great place to go and have a fun time at. Most colleges happen to have a pool as well where people like spending their time.
4. Sports Coat and Tie
As hard as it is to believe at some point in time all of us guys will have to be dressed up in college. This is not just for a fraternity member. People respect a well-dressed man and will prefer you being formal or at least owning a sports coat. Always chose a black or navy and a white button down. These are easy to match with anything and basic colors that are simple yet make people notice you above a regular-dressed man.
If you really want to be formal a tie or bow tie will be needed. A sports coat can only do so much to make you look formal. The truth is that the tie look will capture the most attention. Whenever you have a job interview people will notice this (at some point in time mom and dad will be unable to pay for all those cookout runs and gas). Most guys don’t know how to tie a tie so be a step ahead in this competitive world.
5. Headphones or Speaker
Sometimes taking a break is necessary. Music is the break or escape from all those papers we have to write in college. Buying yourself some headphones will be one of the best investments you will make in college. They are absolutely necessary and so helpful. Sometimes you just need a break and some alone time where music will come in handy. Both a speaker and headphones will do the job.
These are just some simple necessary things college students need. Of course, everyone has their own necessities but I really recommend looking at these and possibly buying them. Trust me, you won’t regret having bought any of these items. All of them will make your college years smoother.
