Throughout college you meet a bunch of new people. Some will become your friends, some will be acquaintances, and others will just be familiar faces you see everyday on the way to class. Although you might have different friend groups, different styles and seem to have no common interests, there is one thing you share. That is a list on sentences all college students have said.

1."I'm going to bed."

It is a simple four word sentence that has multiple meanings. It can also be interpreted as the following:

"I'm going to proceed to lock myself in my room and watch YouTube videos until 3 in the morning." "I would rather sleep than deal with reality." " I'll see you in a few days." and the popular " I have a bunch of things to get done but maybe if I sleep for a few hours half of them will magically be completed."

2. "I'll do that later."

In a scenario where 10 of the worst sentences you could ever say and regret were written on paper and put in a hat to be drawn from, I guarantee this sentence is one of them.

3. "I should have done that earlier."

Right, because when you said later you meant last minute.

4. "Want to go eat?"

It is a never ending cycle. As college students WE EAT ALL THE DAMN TIME. As soon as you step on campus you have a sudden drive to crave different foods. Unfortunately cheeseburger curls do not burn the calories you intake. No shame.

5."Sorry, I'm broke."

I have a solid $3 in my bank account so I'm going to pass on this one.

6. "I think I am staying in this weekend."

Emphasis on the "think" . You get a gold star for the idea but we all know you won't be staying in this weekend.

7. "I've worn these sweats the past two days."

No worries, so has the kid next to you, and mostly the girl next to him too.

8. "Can I borrow that?"

Sharing is caring my friends and let me tell you, your parents would be so proud.

9. "I don't want to go."

I personally say this every time I wake up in the morning. It's actually possible I have said it more than my own name.

10. "I should probably start going to the gym."

This is mostly said towards the end of the year when everyone is freaking out about getting their "summer bod" back.

11. "I'm studying"

Good for you. That is what it's all about. Nothing is as satisfying as receiving a good grade in a class.

12. "I hope this test isn't too hard."

Exams suck even after studying on hours on end. Chances are the exam will be tough no matter how hard you studied, but good luck.

13. "I've been sick for like a month now."

This is not even an exaggeration.

14. "I HATE school."

There are times where you study so hard and still bomb a test. There will be arguments with friends and unfortunately you will have many obstacles put in your way.

15. "I LOVE school."

No matter how many times you say you hate it, you cannot wait to go back.
