5 Things you must Do Before Going Back To School

School is approaching very quickly, so it's only a matter of time until you're back in your usual routines—waking up, going to class, doing homework and repeat. So, before you get back into your hectic educational life, take some time to really enjoy the rest of your summer. Here are 5 things you can do to end your summer with some last minute memories:

1. Take a day trip.

Go somewhere that you don't usually go and spend the day. You might discover your new favorite place.

2. See your friends.

Get those last minute coffee dates and memories in before you all have to part ways again.

3. Go shopping.

Do all of your back to school shopping, and then a little extra to treat yourself in preparation for the incoming stress.

4. Go out to eat.

Only a couple more weeks until you're back on your college budget, and studying takes over your meal times.

5. Enjoy the weather.

Sit outside, go to the pool, or maybe even on a hike. The weather isn't going to be this nice forever, so might as well enjoy it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
