The 'Sophomore Slump' is a pretty well-known phrase used to describe the halt many students hint in their motivation during their second year of college. What most don't know is, there is a junior year slump just the same.
The junior year slump is almost worse, because not only do you have that immature, yet justifiable feeling of "I just don't want to do this anymore," but you also have the anxiety of "Crap, I have to do this, because I have to graduate on time."
You have to think about internships in order to graduate.
Which are basically impossible to get.
Then there's balancing school and work and maintaining a decent GPA.
But by now, we're all older, and some of our friends are moving on, so we really just want to spend as much time partying with our friends as possible.
The struggle is real, especially when you hit the time after midterms and all that work just made you want to crawl back into bed and watch endless Netflix.
But no, not Netflix and chill.
You can make it through, you've made it this far, and this is the last year to enjoy before the depression of being a senior hits you hard, so don't let the slump get to you. This is the best year to truly live it up!
