The yawning epidemic. Nothing is worse. Once one person does it, you can't help but jump on the bandwagon. You always told your mom, "no mom if someone else jumped off of a bridge, I wouldn't do it. I don't succumb to peer pressure," but tell your mom you're sorry because there's no avoiding this one!
Yawning is crazy contagious. You spot someone from across the room fall victim to the yawn and you can't help but do the same. You try to keep your jaw from opening, but your eyes start to water, you get a scratch in the back of your throat, and all of the sudden the yawn fairy has sprinkled its magical yawning dust on you. But hey, honey, you've never looked better.
Who's to say that a mouth wide open, with slobber strings from your top to bottom teeth, and an accumulation of about five chins isn't the sexiest thing one's ever seen? This is your six seconds (about how long an average yawn lasts) of glamour, so embrace it.
Yawning is the sign that we have a lack of oxygen going to our brains. We become lethargic, sleepy, and less alert, so yawning is our body's way of trying to wake up and provide proper oxygen circulation to our brains.
Your yawn can tell you a lot about your physical needs. If yawning seems to be taking over your life, just pay attention to its messages. Go ahead take a nap or do some yoga to get the oxygen flowing. Yawning is a beautiful thing.

I've recently realized that I have been yawning way more than normal. In fact, I was sitting in one of my classes the other day and decided to examine how many times I saw my classmates yawn. Within a fifty minute class period, I counted about thirty yawns.
But have no fear! You aren't some abnormal being for your constant yawning struggles! Yawning is shown to increase during colder months because our bodies try to take advantage of the colder external air around us and bring the more frigid oxygen to our brains to increase alertness. Yawning is a magical practice, so love your yawn and all the chins that come with it.
Don't be ashamed of your yawn face. We all are beautiful human beings, and our yawns are just another unique aspect of who we are. You might rock the back and forth head shake, the bob and weave, the arm stretch, the silent yawn, the dramatic yawn, but no matter what yawn you embrace, just know it will always be epic. Hey, and if you want to jazz it up a bit, I've heard they've recently made some great diamond earring-like studs for your teeth, so you can really make your yawn flashy with a little dental bling.
You do you, open that jaw, and embrace the splendor of the unavoidable yawn.
