Finals. We’ve all gone through them before and are facing them now. They’re what sleepless nights and worst nightmares are made of. But the end is near, and with that comes the glorious welcoming of summer '16. You’re probably fantasizing about all the things you’re going to do, all the places you’re going to go, and all the memories you’re going to make. Or you’re just planning on staying in bed until September when you’re forced to rejoin civilization and the new school year. Whatever it may be, I’d like to share ten things on my summer bucket list that may give all of you inspiration to start yours.
Places To Go
Ever since college has began, I haven’t been able to go many places during the summer because I’ve always taken classes, which have kept me busy. I want this summer to be different. This summer I hope to make time to travel, even if it’s local, so that I can say I made a lot more memories than just in the classroom. Hopefully I make it to all the places I’ve mentioned, some which I’ve never been to and others which I haven’t been to since I was really little.

Things To Do
To avoid just sitting on the couch and binge-watching "The Bachelorette," I want to add a couple things to my bucket list which I want to get done by the end of summer. You’ve probably seen a lot of these ideas on Pinterest and Tumblr, so why not actually try them? From giving my bedroom a makeover, to taking up some hobbies, to giving time to myself, these are all pretty easy goals to accomplish. After completing them, you’ll feel like you were actually pretty productive over the summer, and your body and mind will thank you!
Go to the gym.
Catch up with friends.
Redecorate your room.
Try new arts and crafts.
How many times can you say you went to an actual movie theater over the school year, and didn’t just Netflix and Chill? From "Civil War," to "Finding Dory," to "The Legend of Tarzan," to "Suicide Squad," these are some movies you’re definitely going to want to catch on the silver screen.
Whether it's going places or doing things, this summer will be your most well-deserved break yet, so here's to making your summer '16 one to remember!
