Step 1.
Step 2.
Find your perfect spot to settle down at in the library or your favorite study spot.
Step 3.
Have friends who are at least somewhat night owls to study with, close by. It’s an added bonus if you all are actually studying the same subject.
Step 4.
Have your planner open at all times so you can attempt to keep up with what assignments you should be completing.
Step 5.
Make sure you take breaks every so often to revive your senses and contact the outside world. Walk a lap around the library, text some friends, check Twitter, or take a power nap. Just take a break!
Step 6.
More caffeine.
Step 7.
Go a little bit delusional because at this point most everyone, including your friends, has left the library, and you’ve been studying for an impressively long period of time.
Step 8.
Now’s a big push to try to finish what work you started when you were actually focused.
Step 9.
Don’t let yourself get distracted by social media, especially since the new Snapchat update is slightly addictive.
(I'm ashamed that is actually me.)
Step 10.
Complete your work, go home, and try to get as much sleep as possible before class the next day. And I know, any sleep means the night doesn’t qualify as an all-nighter, but we need it. College is hard.
