The Power You Have

If you desire something greatly go for it nothing that you want is impossible you can do it.

Starting a new school year, a new job, an enhanced life, or even starting a new reading all have something in common that gets us through life. We all have this immense feeling of starting something new, which is great. Everyone goes through it but we always have to remind ourselves that we do not start anything new just because it is time to do so, but more so for the positive effect it has upon us.

When we start something new, at that moment we realize how we are inspiring ourselves to grow by setting this idea of beginning a new journey on whatever we set forth to do. What we go through in everyday life is not always easy — we can agree on that — but yet it is so amazing to watch ourselves gradually set forth on a new setting or project. We live for those moments. I learned through my years that living a day not expecting or creating new and different chances and staying the same will not grantee you to additional open doors and bigger opportunities.

Once we see in our thoughts and minds what we want to achieve, we quickly keep repeating through our mentalities, therefore we attract the great things we want and in most cases, we end up getting it because of the amount of energy we put into wanting something greatly. You can easily connect in the phrase we usually hear every other day, “What we get is what we give.” Indeed we add the amount of energy to getting something then that amount of energy will attract it and give us what we want because we have this passion for positivity and desire.

For example if I want to have a great day in life, I create an image and imagine thoughts of having a great day such as thinking or picturing certain things that will make me happy from friends, family, classes, or even work and I keep that in mind and don’t let negative influences or frequencies overcome my positive thoughts and most importantly believing I will certainly have a great day. Since I put my energy in my thoughts and in my life, I will have better day’s great attitude even better experiences.

The way you should test it out is starting something new, anything you wish. When I started something new, I made sure to put my all into placing a lot of positive thoughts into receiving it but also having an open mind by making sure I control my thoughts in order to take bigger steps to think positive. Such as thinking of certain things that make happy, when I am happy I gain a lot of positive frequencies and that keeps me imagining and creating new ideas, projects, that I want to proceed or even start. Everyone claims they take chances. However, before doing so you have to be ready and to be ready you have to think a clear positive result of what you want so therefore you can receive it.

If you felt that you couldn’t live a good life, pass a test, or get an interview with your dream job etc., think again. You can do it you always can it is just a matter of putting all that energy that inspires you to get what you want and making it a lifestyle and keeping your thoughts and imagination positively high.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
