Throughout your lifetime, you will meet so many different kinds of people. Some of them will stay around for a long time, while some others may not be around for long. Some of them will be people who inspire and motivate you to be better, while some may have the reverse effect; some people will make you wish that you had never met them in the first place. People will come into your life and hurt you but you will also have those who come into your life and help you put all your broken pieces back together. You will have those who think they understand you when really they only know you on the surface, if that much. You will have those that actually do know you. You may even have those that know you inside and out and it may scare you that someone can know you so well. You will and probably already have experienced so many different people in your life. I just have on question...
Have you ever met someone who understands you better than you understand yourself?
If you have, you have a forever friend in your life. I am blessed enough to say that I have a forever friend. In fact, the things we go through are weirdly the same. The exact same. Whenever we talk, it is like she knows what I am going to say before I say it.
I am her "mini me" and I am honestly so thankful to have someone who truly understands every single situation that I have been though. I trust her probably more than anyone else because she has never given me a reason not to. She has kept huge secrets even when she probably shouldn't have. The amount of anxiety attacks she has talked me through is pretty impressive. I gave up on myself a long time ago, but she never has.
She not only helps mentally and emotionally, she gives just about the best hugs ever. She refers to me as her soul mate because of the way we get each other. We make each other so much stronger and she never fails to be there for me always.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have those friends that never fail to make you feel better in times of sadness.
Every person deserves to have a "soul mate" and it doesn't mean it is going to be a significant other or a lover. It may just be a friend like no other. If your forever friend comes along, you may not know it at first, but eventually you will. Always give a fair chance to different friendships and relationships because almost any person you come across could be meant to be your forever friend. Soulmate or forever friend, whichever term you may prefer, they are going to come into your life and help you see sunshine where you once saw rain clouds. Find yourself your soulmate, love and cherish them, and never let them go!
