They say anything worth having is worth the wait...so here I am, waiting. I'd be surprised if you didn't already agree with me that all of us single ladies are voluntarily single and waiting for Matthew McConaughey, but if you don't agree or are on the fence, here are 5 reasons why you should agree:

1. He Is A Southern Gentleman

He was born and raised in Texas and still supports his Alma Mater, the University of Texas at Austin. Since he stays close to his roots, I'm sure his southern charm has not gone away.

2. He Aged Well


Not too bad for 47, am I right?!

3. He'll Look At You The Way He Looked At Kate Hudson In How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days

You can't even argue with me on this one.

4. He Loves Jersey Girls!

His mom is from Trenton, NJ and he loves his mom. So he'll love me, right?

5. Most Importantly, He Loves Animals


He's been recognized for his work with multiple rescue organizations. In fact, after Hurricane Katrina, he helped to save 50 dogs, 18 cats, and 2 hamsters. Sounds like my kind of man!
