Netflix. Every college student's escape. Scratch that, most people's escape. I know for me, I have trouble finding something to watch a lot. There are so many choices, that I just can never decide. Well, I'm here as your savior to help you pick the next time you flip open the laptop or turn on the iPad.

1. " Chef"

This movie really was impressive. It's all about not getting caught in having to slave away at a job you hate just to make money. It helps you realize you should just be doing what makes you happy. Sounds cliche, but trust me, it's amazing. Plus the food they make is mouth-watering.

2. "The League"

Absolutely hilarious. Five seasons are on Netflix right now, but it's perfect. Even if you don't like fantasy football, don't worry. The characters are always getting involved with crazy shenanigans. Plus there's every type of humor possible: dry, sarcastic, slapstick, witty, dark; it's a great show.

3. "Korengal"

A brutal, raw and fascinating documentary that chronicles the life of a soldier that is stationed in what is deemed as "The Valley of Death". This film really puts into perspective what some people have to go through. It is a 100 percent 10 out of 10. Not for everybody, but if you think you have the heart and stomach for it, you will not be disappointed.

4. "Stonehearst Asylum"

This little gem was found one night when me and my friends just said whatever, let's wing it and see if we can find a good one. We stumbled upon "Stonehearst Asylum" and it did not disappoint. Thrilling, with a ton of suspense and plot twists and turns like crazy.

5. "Duplex"

This one came out in the early 2000s, so there's a good chance you've already seen it, but this is one of those movies I can watch over and over again. It's classic Ben Stiller goofy-comedy, and the sheer ridiculousness of the stuff that happens to him and his significant other is just hilarious.

6. "Inglourious Basterds"

One of my favorite movies of all time. Quentin Tarantino nailed this one. It's hilarious, it's brutal, it's full of action. It's just a great package. I can listen to Christoph Waltz speak a foreign language for days. This one can get a little graphic, though, so make sure you can handle that stuff.

7. "Good Will Hunting"

This one is a classic. So once again you might have seen it already, but if you like showing up to the party fashionably late like me, then this is your movie. This movie is powerful to say the least. It's intelligent, funny, heart-breaking and then heart-mending. It just takes you for a ride that is sublime.

8. "Gossip Girl"

Go ahead fellas, laugh at me all you want. When my girlfriend, Olivia, said we should watch this together, I laughed in her face. More than once. I tried acting like I didn't like it, then before I knew it I was getting emotionally invested in the lives of a group of people that doesn't even exist. A lot to watch, but so worth your time.

9. "Chef's Table"

This is potentially the best thing I have ever watched. Not even joking. It's a five part mini-series with each episode dedicated to one world-renowned chef. It takes you into the brilliant minds of these chefs and teaches you things you would have never known even existed. It sheds light as to how being that good of a chef is an art, and it is just amazing. 500000000000 out of 10 rating.

10. "Hannibal Burress: Live From Chicago"

If you like stand up comedy then this should be a hit. Especially if you like extremely dry humor and sarcasm then get ready. Hannibal Burress is very clever, his delivery is unorthodox, and some of the things he says just leave you saying "How did he even think of that?"

11. "A League Of Their Own"

One of the best sports movies of all time. It shows how the impact of WWII affected everything in America, especially professional sports by showing a "based on a true story" version of a women's professional baseball league at the time. It's fun, romantic, funny and tear-jerking. Tom Hanks is incredible, and just a movie that I feel like everybody should watch.

12. "Chelsea Does"

A comedy series/documentary type show that just follows around Chelsea Handler, and a bunch of hilarious things that she does because that's what you do when you have a lot of free time and money. It's actually extremely funny, and she makes fun of a lot of controversial things too which is good to lighten the mood.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
