In the modern world, phones and technology are everywhere you look. You can pay with your phone, communicate with it, and just about do anything. Taking pictures is a major part of having a smart phone, and while that can be a good thing, to take a picture and instantly show it to friends and family all over, the obsession can also be a bad thing. Take a wedding for example.
Imagine, it's your big day, and all you want to do is lock eyes with your bride or groom as you walk down the aisle, but all you can see are cell phones taking pictures of the reactions. And when you get your pictures back from that awfully expensive wedding photographer, the borders are flooded with phones. That is why it is time to consider participating in the trend of unplugged weddings. An unplugged wedding would be one where you ask the guests to put their phones away, and just enjoy the memories. After all, this will hopefully only happen once in your life. The guests will hardly notice if they can't Instagram the moment. Remind them that they can access the professional photos at a later time and that they are there for a reason. Also, the bride does not want people standing in her way to distract her from what really matters, the food, the groom. So consider this, my friends, if you're at a wedding and they don't ask you to put your phone away, just do it anyways; the photographer will thank you.
