College can be difficult with just one major, so it can be easy to imagine just how much more complicated things can be when adding two or three majors into the mix. Although it isn't always talked about, many people find themselves juggling more than one major. Here is a little insight on the day and the life of someone that is experiencing this. Next time you see someone with more than one major, give them a pat on the back because the struggle is real.

1) Your schedule is always packed

When you initially decide to double major you tell yourself that it won't be so bad, but when the classes start to kick in you discover the reality of it all. Say goodbye to the good ol' days of not always having a packed schedule. You will always have a full load of classes every semester.

2) You spend so much time in the library. Sometimes you go and you aren't even doing homework

You will live in the library and finally come to terms that some of your hangouts, dinners and naps will occur there and you won't be ashamed.

3) You experience a lot of late nights

Your late nights won't just be during midterms or finals but a weekly routine. After a while you will find that you become the most productive at night even if it feels like you are dying in the process.

4) There is never a blow off class because they all actually matter in order for you to graduate

You find that those slots in your schedule to take basic electives are now replaced by major classes that you need for graduation.

5) You may turn into that friend that is always complaining about a class or an assignment because school starts to consume your life.

6) During high stress times you will consider dropping back to just one major

When times get hard you start to question what exactly you were thinking when you decided that one major wasn't enough. You then become disappointed in yourself and start to plan out in your head how things will be if you just gave up.

7) At times you'll compare yourself to your friends that have less homework

When thinking about everything that needs to get done it can be very overwhelming and you may find yourself more emotional than you usually are. Don't worry your real friends will understand and not judge you.

8) Some peers will think you are crazy and you won't have much to say back because you think you are crazy too.

Although having more than one major can be difficult and to some seem like a death sentence. When it is all said and done you know that it was all totally worth it and you would do it all over again.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
