I just, I can't.

End Of The Semester As Told By "The Real Housewives"

The end of the semester is a mixed fervor of anticipation, agitation, and anxiety. All of these mixed emotions are hard to articulate -- especially when our minds are fogged with endless formulas and terms we're struggling to memorize. So, we turn to the dear Real Housewives from the hit series on Bravo to help spit out our sentiments -- our (sometimes vain) priorities that cycle with our emotions as we roll through the final days of the semester.

1. When you're overloading on study snacks.

2. When you have given up on looking put together.

3. When you realize you won't have the same professors next semester.

"Deuces, baby!"

4. When you've stayed in to study the past three nights instead of hanging with your friends.

5. When you finally feel like you've mastered the material and are ready for your exam.

6. When you contemplate the most effective study strategies.

7. When your friend asks you how to do a certain problem and you realize you actually know nothing.

8. When all of your friends finish their exams three days before you.

9. When you think about the cool classes you're taking next semester.

10. When you get a bad grade on an open-ended assignment.

11. When you look through your Google Calendar and realize all of the stuff you have to do in the next week.

12. When your family texts you saying, "Good luck on your exams."

13. When your family texts you saying, "You better ace those exams."

14. And once you've given up on finals.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
