The semester is coming to a close and as every college student knows, the end of the semester equals the craziest and hectic time of your college career. Every student faces the same struggles and dreads this time of the year. I decided to illustrate these struggles in a way we could all enjoy.
When you're out of meal swipes and money on your meal plan but you are also a broke college student and have no money to go food shopping. This is where anything and anybody with free food becomes your best friend. This is also when you get creative with your food combinations when you literally are eating anything that you have left. You're probably not proud.
When you study for hours and days on end for that one final that is going to make or break your grade and on the day of the test your professor tells you that they are going to curve the final. Greatest. News. Ever.
Then there are the not so nice professors, you know the ones, the professors that everyone can't stand. When you've spent all semester studying your butt off and still can't manage to have the grade you need or want and the professor tells you, not only will the final not be cumulative, but the final will also be all short answer and 75 percent of your grade. (Okay, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point).
The end of the semester is not always a negative time. It's a time where you make fun plans for the summer to see friends and hang out. But, there is that awful time when you check your bank account for the first time since December and you see that you spent it all on stupid stuff and now you can't do anything fun.
Then there's the point where you realize everyone you go to school with is actually the most annoying person ever (except your bffs and roommates, of course) and you can not stand to be around them. You don't really mean this. You've just gotten sick of them after spending every day seeing the same people for five months. You'll be super excited to see them all again after break's over, but for now, you'd rather they just go away forever.
And then, of course, there's the moment where you take your very last final and you know you're on your way to break and nothing else matters except the great times ahead.
So there you have it. All the struggles and hard times of graduation summed up with the help of Bob's Burgers. As much as the end of the semester is stressful, causes anxiety, and makes you re-evaluate every life choice you've ever made, three weeks into break you'll be wishing you were back at school.
