It's almost the end of the semester, and you want nothing more than to be on break. You're sitting through all your classes debating whether or not you really need to earn a degree like:
You have zoned out through the entire lecture until you hear the professor say the words "final exam," and that's when the anxiety starts to set in. You were so motivated at the beginning of the semester! What happened!?
The week goes on just like any other, until Friday rolls around. Everything is fine until you finally realize why there are about eight billion things due between now and the end of the semester.
Finals week is coming.
It's time to lock yourself in the library and cram a whole semester's worth of information into your brain for this one test. So fun! It's just a test that's worth about 40 percent of your overall grade... No big deal, right? Now's about that time when you seriously question how much you need this degree.
Between studying your life away and pulling as many all-nighters as needed, you are determined to pass this final no matter the cost. The main thing in your system is coffee at this point, and you feel like you're losing your sanity. Sacrifices will be made, tears will be shed and your physical health might even suffer; but you will pass this exam.
It's here—exam day. You go to the classroom a little sleep deprived, but ready. Some people are nervous, some are still trying to study, some are having mental breakdowns. But there is always that one kid who's perfectly calm.
#BYE
As the professor is passing out the exams, you take a deep breath. All your preparation has lead up to this next hour or so. You got this.
After you've finished the exam and turn it in, it feels as if a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders! No more homework, no more quizzes and no more lectures. You're home free!
Time to kick back and relax! Until you have to do it all over again in a couple months... Just remember, C's get degrees.
