The Difference Between Freshmen And Upperclassmen

What can you distinguish from a freshmen and upperclassmen? Freshmen would wander around campus looking for building that they never could find. Freshmen will walk to class in less than two minutes because they fear of some professors yelling at them about being late. A freshmen would walk sometimes differently because of social anxiety and fear of others judging them. Beware freshmen, when that third weeks hit, do not think that this work will be equivalent to high school. Parties shall stay limited to celebrate an excellent test grade and to release the stress upon your body. I recommend that freshmen focus on education first, social connection, and lastly partying which sums up al the social connection too. Freshmen enter a new environment and have to adapt to this environment, changing their perspectives and ideology.

Upperclassmen on the other hand, will walk to class 2mph and sometimes reach late not having a care in the world. Upperclassmen will sometimes go out to party the week before finals week. Upperclassmen will walk with that swag and looseness that others will find a bit ignorant, meanwhile those upperclassmen do not care. Some people act older than they are and some will act younger than they are. Personality will change overtime in college most of the time, but will benefit you for the future. Upperclassmen would sometimes do an assignment a day before its due, but then again I feel like all college students have those moments. Everyone procrastinates once in a while, which is not the best fit for college, but it happens as a sense of laziness and stress that accumulates over time. College is never a time to slack because picking up quickly is like lifting a heavy item for a while, its only a small amount of time before you drop it. When I was a freshman, so much changed for me as a person and I thought efficiently and smarter.

I pray that these freshmen do not mess up their school work or think that college will be a walk on the park because in reality it all matters how much work you put into those tests and homework. Upperclassmen have the experience and freshmen have that ideology that college will be fun, but some do not know the responsibility that comes with it. Freshmen will become upperclassmen eventually, but their attitudes will change over time and become a bit mature as the years go on. I really envisioned that upperclassmen do respect freshmen, but they can spot out a freshmen behavior; similar to distinguishing a bee and a mosquito.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
