The last few weeks of the semester are the most stressful time. You are feeling anxious, nervous, overwhelmed, and just simply "over" the semester. You are feeling like your whole world is crumbling and you are not sure how you are going to get all of this work done at once. Coming from a senior in college, I can personally say I am still just as stressed or even more stressed with all of the projects, tests, and finals. So, it doesn't get easier, but I will give you some advice I have learned over the years.

1. Outline Your Projects.

Once Week 12 or 13 hits in the semester, I advise you to make sure you are outlining the rest of your group projects, research papers, and exams for the rest of the semester. This can make you feel overwhelmed but then you know each week when everything is due and you know what will be coming up. This way you are not forgetting about things that are due during this busy time.

2. Make A List.

Everyday make a list from morning until night what you have planned for the day. Making a list of when you are going to the gym, when you have work, when you have class, and when you are going to do homework. Plan your day hour by hour. It makes it a lot easier for you to visualize in your mind what needs to be completed. It helps by writing down what you need to do each day, and sticking to your plan.

3. COFFEE.

Coffee gets you through anything. Give yourself an energy boost and learn to survive off of coffee for these final weeks. Trust me, it helps tremendously.

4. Stick To A Healthy Diet. Healthy Mind, Healthy Life.

Try eating lots of fruits and protein these final weeks. It will help you feel better and will give you more energy. it will help you feel more productive and will give you the vitamins that you need. Also go to the gym or workout to release your endorphins. Helping your mind and your body is the most important thing before doing anything else.

5. Take One Day At A Time.

One of the biggest things that overwhelms us is that half of the time we are worrying about the assignment that is due two weeks from now. Instead, take each day as its' own and plan accordingly. Everything always gets done when you make time for it. Take a breather each day and have a positive attitude each day that you have the power to conquer that day and to focus on the assignment (s) that are due that week. Have faith in yourself. Be proactive.

Try your best and continue to stay on top of your work, even when you are feeling at your laziest. These final weeks could make or break your grades. So, stay on top of it!! You can do it! :)

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
