With the NBA season just around the corner, let's take a look at some of the teams that might be around in June.
Golden State Warriors

The Warriors enter the season as world champions, and they aren’t going anywhere. Steve Kerr has done an unbelievable job, and the Warriors are beginning to look dynasty-esque. With Stephen Curry, Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala and Kyle Thompson back, as well as most of their leading scorers, look for the Warriors to do big things this year. I could easily see the Warriors back in the NBA finals.
Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs too, have a lot of their impact players returning, including the addition of Mo Williams. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Mo has spent 12 years in the NBA, and is back in Cleveland. He will be a solid substitute when Kyrie Irving exits the game. If the Cavs can stay away from injuries, look for the Cavs too, to be in the NBA Finals.
LA Clippers

The Clippers had an okay season, but not quite good enough to get to the NBA finals. I personally was cheering for the Clippers, but I don’t think the NBA community was quite pulling for the blue-collar team yet. However, I think this year is a totally different story. This team has established an identity, and finally has people rooting for them. If they can play well in the later part of the season, this could be a team to watch.
San Antonio Spurs

As always, Gregg Popovich has the Spurs ready for a big year. They didn’t get as far in the playoffs as they hoped, but look for Tim Duncan to have a big year. On most occasions, after a bad year, he plays his best. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tony Parker have a big year as well. The “Big Three” aren’t getting any younger, so this could be the year to get a championship.
A lot can happen in an NBA season, but these are just a handful of teams that I believe have an excellent chance of being in the NBA finals.
