Not that anyone needs any help getting this job done, but I might as well offer a little help. If you’re going to waste your time on the internet, you might as well do it watching something (somewhat) worthwhile.
1. Buzzfeed Tasty Videos
The only downside to these videos is that they make you hungry.
2. Insider
This site talks about anything and everything from the best and newest food in the world to the discovery of new sea creatures.
3. Movie Trailers
I love these because they keep me interested and excited about new movies.
4. Mojo Videos
These are the best because you can convince yourself you’re learning something while wasting time.
5. theSkimm
While you’re wasting time, you can keep up on current events. It’s like Shmoop, but for the news.
6. Animal Videos
Cute, happy fur balls of delight? Yes, please.
7. Online Quizzes
Facebook has more than enough quizzes to keep you occupied for a long time. You can learn all sorts of things such as, “Which celebrity are you most like?” and, “How long will you survive in the zombie apocalypse?”
8. Inspirational Stories
Want to get your heart warmed? Go watch those videos about a son coming home from war and embracing his dad or the owner that made an amputee bunny a wheelchair. They still make my eyes shine just writing about them.
9. Listicles
Just as you are reading this, listicles of any and every type are the best. Quick, easy, fast, and always amusing. The only downside to these is that they usually come from sketchy websites with ads that pop up every time you hit the “next” button.
10. Odyssey
Go read some Baylor Odyssey articles to pass the time. Indulge in them, laugh, learn, love, and then share them!
