The #1 Cure All For Any Issue

I've never heard of an issue a hot shower couldn't fix.

The #1 Cure All For Any Issue
Easy A

I know what you're thinking. Molly, are you seriously about to write an article about hot showers? Yes. The answer to that question is yes.

A nice hot shower is never something that is prescribed to you by a doctor, or a therapist, and it is rarely thought of as a solution to all your problems. It goes unnoticed and unrecognized when in reality it is often the equivalent of talking it out or taking medicine. It is important to remember all the benefits of taking a shower that almost always are forgotten. Yes, they are something that you do (or at least should be doing) on a regular basic, but they're also the #1 problem solver to all issues. At times we have to remember that taking a shower might be the solution to all of your issues. Don't just take them because you have to, start taking them because you want to. Incase you haven't used a shower as your go to medicine recently, here is a reminder of just what exactly a shower can solve.

1. When you're sick and achy.

Did you wake up all stuff up after a long nights rest, or did your cold make your bones ache all day, take a shower as a solution. It will clear out your nose and relax your body. Win win.

2. When you just need to cry it out.

Having a bad day? Need to cry it out and just let your emotions go? The shower is the perfect, judgement free place for this.

3. When you need to clear your mind.

If your brain just keeps running in circles and you can't stop thinking, hop in the shower and force your brain to relax.

4. When you are tired but it's too late for coffee.

Need to hit that refresh button on your brain and wake yourself up? Shower if it is too late for you to drink coffee, it will be almost the same.

5. When you just finished a good workout.

There's no better way to relax your muscles after a nice long workout then a steamy shower. You will feel better then ever when you get out.

6. When you just need some alone time.

If you have felt like everyone around you was just crowding you all day there is no better place to be alone then in the shower.

7. When you can no longer focus on anything.

If your ability to focus is completely gone, hop in the shower to refocus and readjust your mind. Give your brain a little break in order to get the maximum potential after.

8. When you're feeling meh.

Days go by when "meh" is the only word you can find to accurately describe how you are feeling. On those days the best thing for you is a long hot shower.

9. When you need a dance party without judgement.

Dancing it out is another solution to just about anything, why not combine the two treatments for maximum happiness.

10. When you need to just be.

Somedays you need to just be. In order to do that you need to be alone and leave all your thoughts behind. A steamy shower is the best place to do this.

11. When you're stressed out.

If your brain just keeps running in circles thinking of all that you have to do, all the tests you need to study for, and all the deadlines you have to meet, showering is the solution.

12. When you're lacking creativity.

Some people come up with their best ideas in the shower. Something about the hot water gets your creative juices flowing. That being said, this article was brought to you by a nice long hot shower.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
